WHO World No Tobacco Award 2025
Mr. Labram Musah, the Executive Director of VAST-Ghana, received the prestigious WHO World No Tobacco Award in recognition of his outstanding efforts in tobacco control.
Advocacy for Higher Excise Taxes
VAST-Ghana has strongly advised the Ministry of Finance to uphold and potentially increase existing excise taxes on tobacco, alcohol, and sugar-sweetened beverages to combat non-communicable diseases.
Youth Protection Initiative
Backed the National Youth Authority CEO's call for a nationwide ban on electronic cigarettes, shisha, and other tobacco products targeting the youth to protect young people from health-harming substances.
